Teenage girl and her lover commits suicide

A 13-year-old girl and her 25-year-old man who suspected to be her lover had committed suicide by hanging themselves in Bulathkohupitiya this morning, the police said.
The bodies of the victims were found hanging from the roof of a storeroom used to keep plucked tea leaves in Kalupahanawatta area.
They were reportedly residents of a line house accommodating tea estate workers in the area.
